There are three separate camp areas. They are called
the Lodge Area, Day Camp Area, and Retreat Center.
The groups, who reserve these camps, have their activities
planned by them. These camp areas share two Pay Phones,
Wooden Ark, Ice chest, Dumping Station and Soccer Field.
Lodge Area:
This area has 3 restroom facilities, 2 kitchenettes for
scheduled group dinners, 3 group sized charcoal grills,
2 volleyball courts, basketball courts, beach access with
wooden steps and deck, and 1 beach volleyball courts. The
Lodge area has three sections, they are: The Craft Hall,
The Shelter, and the Retreat Center Shelter. When groups
reserve the entire Lodge area, up to 100 families can attend
at one time.
The Crafthall section
has 20 campsites with water and electric (30 amps is minimum),
and 14 tent platforms (20 amps is minimum). The area has
a fire bowl. This group can request the Pavilion located
in the Shelter Area, via Camp Manager. It has use of a heated
building (The craft hall), which was the original summer
camp kitchen when the camp first started. The craft hall
has a small kitchen with a walk-in cooler.
The Shelter section has 20 campsites with water and electric
(30 amps is minimum) and 12 Tent Platforms (20 amps minimum).
It also has a fire bowl. It has an open Pavilion with one
wall at the end with a kitchenette. At the end of the Pavilion
is a walk-in cooler, which is shared with Retreat Area.
The Retreat Center section
has 12 campsites with water and electric (30 amps is minimum)
and 8 Tent Platforms (20 amps is minimum). It also has a
fire bowl and new restrooms. Shares the walk-in cooler located
in the Shelter Area.
Day Camp Area:
This area has 1 restroom facility, Pavilion with 1 wall
and tent flaps, 1 kitchenette for scheduled group dinners,
1 group sized charcoal grills, fire bowl, baseball diamond,
one volleyball court, beach entrance with wooden steps and
deck, and 1 beach volleyball net. When groups reserve the
entire Day Camp area, up to 50 families can attend at one
time.
The Oval section is
for smaller trailers. It has 15 sites with water and electricity
(30 amps is the minimum). The located closer to the Pavilion
and fire bowl.
The Platforms section
has 12 Platform tents (20 amps minimum) located between
The Oval and Open Area Sites. The other two areas sometimes
share the area.
The Open Area section
is prefect for the bigger motor homes. There are 15 sites
with water and electricity (30 amps is the minimum)
Retreat Center:
It is designed for groups of 30, with 15 students/adults
staying in two large bedrooms. Availability is September
1 through May 1. There is a shared meeting space and kitchenette
in the building. It is open in from January until June,
and September through December. There is a two night stay
and a $50 deposit requirements. For student retreats, the
cost is $12 per student per night with a $100 a night minimum
cost per night. For adult retreats, the cost $17 per adult
per night with a $150 a night minimum cost per night.
Amenities:
a Kitchen with a small stove, microwave, coffee pot, refrigerator,
meeting tables, TV, VCR, DVD player, Piano.
